National Religious Campaign Against Torture



The National Religious Campaign Against Torture (NRCAT) is a coalition of religious organizations joined together to ensure that the United States does not engage in torture or cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment of anyone, without exception. Since its formation in January 2006, approximately 100 religious organizations have joined NRCAT, including representatives from the Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox Christian, Evangelical Christian, Unitarian, Jewish, Muslim and Sikh communities.
