National Resistance Army
The National Resistance Army (NRA) began as a guerilla army of Uganda in the 1980s, led by Yoweri Museveni. In 1986 the NRA took power, after five years of a bloody insurgency, often called "the war in the bush", against the regimes of Milton Obote and Tito Okello.
