Naik (military rank)
Naik (sometimes historically called Nayak) (Nk) is the equivalent rank to Corporal in the Indian Army and Pakistan Army, and previously in the British Indian Army, ranking between Lance Naik and Havildar. In cavalry units the equivalent is Lance Daffadar.
