National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar
Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology also called NIT-Jalandhar or NITJ and formerly known as Regional Engineering College, Jalandhar (RECJ) is one of the youngest among the eighteen National Institutes of Technology of India. The institution was established in the year 1987 as Regional Engineering College and on October 17, 2002, was given the status of National Institute of Technology (Deemed University) by the Government of India under the control of Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi, India.
