Nelson de Araujo
Nelson de Araujo (NĂ©lson Correia de AraĂşjo) was born in Capela, state of Sergipe, in Northeast Region, Brazil, on September 4, 1926, and died in Salvador, state of Bahia, on April 7, 1993. He was a renowned author of numerous books on the history and people of Brazil, writer, publisher, copyholder, translator, photographer, journalist, reporter, folklore researcher and a professor the History of Theater at the Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA).
