Narses (disambiguation)
Narses or Nerses was the Hellenized form of the Parthian Nerseh, which appears to have been a fairly common name in the Eastern Mediterranean and Near East in late antiquity. The name derives from a minor Zoroastrian divinity, Nairyosangha, "he of manly utterance," a Hermes-like figure.
