National Resistance Front of SĂŁo TomĂ© and PrĂncipe-Renewal
The National Resistance Front of SĂŁo TomĂ© and PrĂncipe-Renewal (FRNSTP-R) was a political movement of SĂŁo TomĂ©an exiles who opposed the socialist policies of the single party Movement for the Liberation of SĂŁo TomĂ© and PrĂncipe (MLSTP) government, and sought its overthrow. The FRNSTP-R was formed in 1986 by a small faction of National Resistance Front of SĂŁo TomĂ© and PrĂncipe (FRNSTP) members who refused to give up the idea of armed struggle as a means of overthrowing the SĂŁo TomĂ©an government.
