National Commission on the Disappearance of Persons



The National Commission on the Disappearance of Persons (Spanish: , CONADEP) was an Argentine organization created by President RaĂşl AlfonsĂ­n on December 15, 1983, shortly after his inauguration to investigate the fate of the desaparecidos and other human rights violations (see: Dirty War) performed during the military dictatorship of 1976 to 1983.
