National Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism
The National Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism (MIPT) is a non-profit organization founded in response to the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. Supported by Department of Homeland Security and other government grant funds, the institute conducts research into the causes of terrorism and maintains the MIPT Terrorism Knowledge Base — an online database of terrorist incidents, groups, and other information.
