Nagoya-ben



Nagoya-ben (Japanese: 名古屋弁, -ben "dialect") is a dialect of the Japanese Language spoken in the west half of Aichi prefecture, around the city of Nagoya. It is also called Owari-ben (尾張弁) since the area was Owari-no-kuni (尾張国）in the Edo period.
