Operation Neptune
Operation Neptune was the term for the landing phase of Operation Overlord, the Allied invasion of Normandy. Neptune took place on Gold Beach, Juno Beach, Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Sword Beach and Utah Beach.
