Original Stories from Real Life with Conversations calculated to Regulate the Affections, and Form the Mind to Truth and Goodness, published in 1788, is the only work of children's fiction by Mary Wollstonecraft (1759-1797). First published by Joseph Johnson, the book was reissued in 1791 with engravings by William Blake.
