Olsztyn



Olsztyn (; until 1946 ; Old Prussian: Alnāsteini, the modern version is a Polish rendering of these) is a city in northeast Poland, on the Łyna river. Historically the capital of Warmia, Olsztyn is the capital of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, previously Olsztyn Voivodeship.
