OKB
OKB is a transliteration of the Russian acronym for "Опытное конŃŃ‚Ń€ŃкторŃкое бюро" - Opytnoe Konstructorskoe Byuro, meaning Experimental Design Bureau. During the Soviet era, OKBs were closed institutions working on design and prototyping of advanced technology, usually for military applications.
