Olympic Marmot
The Olympic Marmot, Marmota olympus, is a marmot (a rodent in the squirrel family Sciuridae). They are found in alpine and subalpine meadows and talus slopes of the Olympic Peninsula of Washington, and are close relatives of the Hoary Marmot.
