Office of the Registrar of Aboriginal Corporations
The Registrar of Aboriginal Corporations is a Australian Government statutory office appointed by the Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs under the Aboriginal Councils and Associations Act 1976 (ACA Act). The Registrar has powers similar to those of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) for corporations registered at the national level set up by Indigenous Australians.
