Ohio State Route 176
State Route 176 (SR 176) is partially a limited-access highway. From 1968 it originally functioned as an exit off of I-71 and side streets, terminating at Denison Road, to serve the business in the Industrial Valley, but as traffic volumes to suburbs like Parma and Parma Heights increased, and to relieve traffic from I-77 to I-480, the freeway, the Jennings Freeway, was extended as originally planned to I-480 and Brookpark Road SR 17 in 1998, making an easier route for downtown workers from the Parma area to get to and from work.
