Oleksandr Sharkovsky
Oleksandr Sharkovsky (December 7, 1936-) is a prominent Ukrainian mathematician most famous for developing Sharkovsky's Theorem in 1964. In 2006 he became a member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
