Omar al-Faruq
Omar al-Faruq (May 24 1971 - September 25] [[2006) was a Kuwaiti citizen of Iraqi heritage, and senior al Qaeda cadre, who escaped from the Bagram high value detention centre. Al-Faruq was a liaison between al Qaeda and Islamic militants in the Far East, particularly Jemaah Islamiyah.
