Oregon Ballot Measure 58 (1998)



Measure 58 was an initiative petition that was referred to and passed by the voters of Oregon in the November 1998 General Election, 609,268 to 454,122. The measure allowed adoptees to unseal their birth records so they could locate their birth parents.
