Operation Iron Saber
During Post-invasion Iraq, Operation Iron Saber was a coalition strike aimed at defeating the Mahdi army under the control of Muqtada al-Sadr in Najaf, Al Kut and Karbala. The major United States unit involved was Task Force U.
