Ă“skar PĂ©tursson
Ă“skar PĂ©tursson (born 26 January 1989) is an Icelandic football goalkeeper who currently plays for Ipswich Town. He signed a two-year Academy scholarship in April 2005, PĂ©tursson is considered the most promising keeper in the Nordic countries and had interested a number of English clubs prior to signing for Ipswich and spent time on trial at Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier in the 2004/05 season.
