1st Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders
The 1st Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders was formed in 1881 when the 91st (Princess Louise's Argyllshire Highlanders) Regiment of Foot were amalgamated with the 93rd (Sutherland Highlanders) Regiment of Foot to form the 1st and 2nd Battalions of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders .
