Şanlıurfa
Şanlıurfa (often simply known as Urfa, formerly Edessa) is a city in south-eastern Turkey, and the capital of Şanlıurfa Province. Urfa is situated on a plain under big open skies, about eighty kilometres east of the Euphrates River.
