2006–2007 Lebanese anti-government revolt
The Lebanese anti-government revolt is an ongoing series of protests and sit-ins that began December 1, 2006, led by groups in Lebanon that oppose the Western-backed government of Prime Minister Fouad Siniora. The opposition group is made up of pro-Syrian, Iranian-backed Hezbollah and Amal, and the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM).
