5-HT3
The 5-HT3 are ligand-gated cation channel receptors, a unique property in the 5-HT receptor family. Their structure is a 4-TM homopentameric structure consisting of α-subunits and a β-subunit with the possibility though of a heteropentameric structure existing instead.
