ĹĂłdĹş Voivodeship
ĹĂłdĹş Voivodeship (1) (Polish: wojewĂłdztwo łódzkie) is an administrative region of central Poland created January 1, 1999, out of the former ĹĂłdĹş which existed from 1975 until 1999, Sieradz, PiotrkĂłw Trybunalski, Skierniewice and part of PĹ‚ock voivodeships, pursuant to the Local Government Reorganization Act of 1998. The voivodeship's name recalls that of the region's largest city, ĹĂłdĹş.
