Çayönü
Çayönü is a Neolithic settlement in southern Turkey, forty kilometres north-west of Diyarbakır, at the foot of the Taurus mountains. It lies near the Bogazcay, a tributary of the upper Tigris and the Bestakot, an intermittent stream.
