10BROAD36 10Broad36 is an obsolete standard for carrying 10 Mbit/s Ethernet signals over standard 75 ohm CATV cable over a 3600 meter range. Unlike most Ethernet standards, like 10BASE-T, which use a baseband type encoding, where the signal is simply encoded directly on the wire without any sort of carrier wave, 10Broad36 modulated its data onto an RF baseband, much as an audio signal would be encoded onto a carrier wave to be transmitted in a radio station.
10cc (album) 10cc is the debut album by British rock band 10cc. It was recorded at Strawberry Studios in Stockport, which was part-owned by guitarist and engineer Eric Stewart, and released on Jonathan King's UK Records label.
10GEA The 10GEA (10 Gigabit Ethernet Alliance) was an independent (not directly related to IEEE, although working in collaboration with it) organization which aimed to further 10 Gigabit Ethernet development and market acceptance. Founded in February 2000 by a consortium of companies, the organization provided IEEE with technology demonstrations (including, for instance, a May 7, 2002 demonstration in Las Vegas, in which a 200 plus kilometres 10Gb Ethernet network was deployed, using 10GBASE-LR, 10GBASE-ER, 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-LW ports, as well as presenting communication over the IEEE 802.
10k Plan The 10K Plan is a plan by Oakland, California Mayor Jerry Brown to attract 10,000 new residents to the city's downtown and Jack London Square areas. It was a major campaign bullet during his reelection campaign and was supported by City Council Head Ignacio de la Fuente quite strongly.
10NES 10NES was the authentication code for the American Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) video game console. The system consisted of two parts--a computer chip in the NES that would check the cartridge in the system for authentication, and a chip in the cartridge that would give the 10NES code upon demand.
10th (Irish) Division (United Kingdom) The 10th (Irish) Division, was a New Army division, one of Kitchener's New Army K1 Army Group divisions raised largely in Ireland from the Irish National Volunteers in 1914. It fought at Gallipoli, Salonika and Palestine during the First World War and was the first Irish Division ever to take the field in war.
10th Canadian Infantry Brigade The 10th Canadian Infantry Brigade was first assembled at Nanaimo, British Columbia in October 1940, although Nanaimo was not established as its headquarters until February 1941. 10th Infantry Division (Germany) The German 10th Infantry Division was created in October 1934 under the cover name Wehrgauleitung Regensburg (later Kommandant von Regensburg) to hide its violation of the Treaty of Versailles. It was renamed to 10th Infantry Division when the establishment of the Wehrmacht was announced publicly in October 1935.
