?uestlove (pronounced "Questlove") is the stage name of Ahmir Khalib Thompson, born January 20, 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, an African-American drummer, DJ, journalist, and record producer, best known as the drummer for hip-hop band The Roots.
