6-Hydroxydopamine
6-Hydroxydopamine, or 6-OHDA, is a neurotoxin used by neurobiologists to selectively kill dopaminergic and noradrenergic neurons. 6-OHDA enters the neurones via the dopamine and noradrenaline (or, in America, norepinephrine) reuptake transporters.
