1959 Mexico Hurricane
The 1959 Mexico Hurricane was a devastating tropical cyclone that impacted the Pacific coast of Mexico in October 1959, and is the strongest known landfall by an East Pacific hurricane. It killed over 1,000 people, making it one of the worst hurricanes of the 1950s and the deadliest recorded Pacific hurricane.
