1st Battalion 258th Field Artillery
The 1st Battalion 258th Field Artillery, was originally constituted as the 4th Regiment, New York State Artillery and organized on 9 October 1809 at New York, from two existing battalions of Volunteer Militia Artillery. It was redesignated on 13 June 1812 as the 3d Regiment, New York State Artillery.
