The 2006 Varanasi bombings were a series of bombings that occurred across the Hindu holy city of Varanasi in India on 7 March 2006. At least 28 people are reported to have been killed and as many as 101 others were injuredHindustan Times - Terror strikes Varanasi; 28 killed, no claim yet.
