PDVC
PDVC (Polyvinylidene Chloride) is a chemical product with low permeability (fluid) and thus high resistance to oil, fat, water, and steam. Originally developed by Dow chemicals in the 1930s under the trademark Saran (plastic wrap) for use as protective coating against corrosion from sea spray for military aircraft.
