Partitioning of the Ottoman Empire

Partitioning of the Ottoman Empire was a direct consequence of World War I and the Ottomans' involvement in the Middle Eastern theatre. The Ottoman government collapsed completely and the Ottoman Empire was divided amongst the victorious powers with the signing of the Treaty of Sèvres on August 10, 1920.
