Patricia Ann Tracey was a Vice Admiral in the United States Navy and held the position of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Personnel Policy at time of her retirement on 01 October 2004. At that time she was also the senior ranking woman officer in the United States military service, and the first and only woman in the U.
