Palestinian diplomatic missions
On 15 November 1988, the Palestinian National Council of the Palestine Liberation Organization, sitting in Algiers, adopted the Palestinian Declaration of Independence, unilateraly proclaiming the State of Palestine within the former British Mandate of Palestine, while not explicitly declaring its boundaries or claimed territory. At the time, the State of Palestine was not a de facto or de jure entity.
