The measure, which passed with 62% support, requires that pigs and calves used for veal on factory farms be given enough room to turn around and fully extend their limbs.
Proposition 31 Proposition 31 is a 1968 novel written by Robert Rimmer that tells the story of two middle-class, suburban Caliornia couples who turn to a polyamorous relationship to deal with their multiple infidelities as an alternative to divorce. The novel is written as a case study by a psychologist supporting a fictional "Proposition 31" that would amend the California Constitution to permit polyamory relationships in the guise of state-sanctioned group marriage.

Proposition I/College Not Combat Proposition I ("College Not Combat") is a ballot measure passed by residents of San Francisco, California on November 5, 2005, with 60% in support. Propositional attitude A propositional attitude is a relational mental state connecting a person to a proposition. They are often assumed to be the simplest components of thought and can express meanings or content that can be true or false.
Propositional calculus In logic and mathematics, a propositional calculus (or a sentential calculus) is a formal system in which formulas representing propositions can be formed by combining atomic propositions using logical connectives, and a system of formal proof rules allows to establish that certain formulas are "theorems" of the formal system.

Proprietary church During the Middle Ages, the proprietary church (Latin ecclesia propria, German Eigenkirche) was a church, abbey or cloister built on private ground by a feudal lord, over which he retained proprietary interests, especially the right of what in English law is "advowson", that of nominating the ecclesiastic personnel. In a small parish church this right may be trivial, but in the German territories of Otto the Great it was an essential check and control on the church through which the Holy Roman Emperor largely ruled.
