Paavo Yrjölä



Paavo Ilmari Yrjölä (June 18, 1902 in Hämeenkyrö – February 11, 1980 ibid.), who was also known as the Bear of Hämeenkyrö (Hämeenkyrön karhu), was a Finnish track athlete who won the gold medal in the decathlon at the the Olympics in 1928.
