Paquetá Island
Paquetá Island (Portuguese: Ilha de Paquetá) is an island in Guanabara Bay, Rio de Janeiro. The name of the island is a Tupi (Brazilian Indian language) word meaning "many shells", a reference to the plentiful shells on the island's beaches.
