Palais des Nations

The Palais des Nations (Palace of Nations in English) in Geneva, Switzerland, was built between 1929 and 1938 as the headquarters of the League of Nations. Since the 1950's it has served as the home of the United Nations Office at Geneva, despite the fact that the host country did not become a member of the organisation itself until 2002.
