Panjshir Valley
The Panjshir Valley, also spelt Panjsher Valley (Dari: دره پنجشير; literally Valley of the Five Lions) is a valley in Afghanistan, 150km north of Kabul, near the Hindu Kush. Located in Panjshir Province and divided by the Panjshir River, It is home to more than 300,000 people, including Afghanistan's largest concentration of ethnic Tajiks.
