Palashi
PâlÄshi (Bangla: পলাশী, English: Plassey) is a small hamlet on the Bhagirathi river, located approximately 25 kilometres south of the city of Murshidabad in the Murshidabad District of West Bengal, India. The nearest major town is Cassim Bazar (called Cassembuzer by the English, who also lend this name to the river flowing nearby).
