Paulicianism
Paulicianism was a Christian sect that flourished between 650 and 872 in Anatolia, originating from Armenia and the Eastern Themes of the Byzantine Empire. While there were some Paulicians that had Gnostic elements, the charge that they were Manicheans and dualists is disputed.
