Panaeolus subbalteatus
Panaeolus subbalteatus is a common hallucinogenic mushroom that is widely distributed. A coprophilous (dung-inhabiting) species which also grows well in other habitats including fertilized lawns, haystacks, compost heaps, at racetracks and at riding stables in stable shavings of woodchips, hay and manure.
