Parnasism
Parnasism was a literary style charactertic of French poetry during the positivist period, between romanticism and symbolism. The name is derived from Le Parnasse contemporain, an anthology of the works of Paul Verlaine and Stephane Mallarmé appearing in 1866, 1871 and 1876.
