Paco Ignacio Taibo II (born 11 January, 1949 in GijĂłn, Asturias), birth name Francisco Ignacio Taibo Mahojo, is a Spanish/Mexican writer, politician and academic. He has received the international Dashiell Hammett award for best detective story three times.
