The Quincy-Hannibal Micropolitan Area is an unofficial micropolitan area that combines both the cities of Quincy, Illinois and Hannibal, Missouri and the surrounding counties of Adams County, Illinois, Lewis County, Missouri, and Marion County, Missouri. The mistake of them being conjoined with each other comes from the media's perseption.
