Queen Mary's Grammar School, Walsall

Queen Mary's Grammar School was founded in 1554 by Queen Mary Tudor, daughter of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon. The School badge is the personal badge of Queen Mary Tudor: it combines the Tudor Rose of her father Henry VIII with the badge of her mother, Catherine of Aragon, a sheaf of arrows, tied with a Staffordshire knot.
